As at 1 March 2015 we have 68 mandalas from 44 people from all around the world including Australia, the Uk, USA, New Zealand, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Germany, The Netherlands and Timor! Plus we have hearts and over 25 butterflies, the symbol of Fibromyalgia, to add to the yarnbomb.
Thanks to all those who have sent something already. You still have time to get involved.

This is the Hope Mandala designed by the talented and caring @maritparit Marit for me to use in a project to raise awareness for Fibromyalgia Syndrome.
Help by giving a GIFT OF HOPE. Let's raise awareness by covering a tree in Sydney in May 2015 with gorgeous mandalas made by all those who care and have compassion for others. Help this Fibro Fighter raise awareness for this invisible illness!
How does it work?
You send me a mandala and when I receive it, I send you a gift of the pattern written by Marit.
The mandala needs to be:
Acrylic or cotton
Shades of purple (plus some white and black if you like)
Over 14cm wide but no more than 50cm wide.
Sent by 2 April 2015
And now we have a way for knitters to get involved too in the FMS Hope Mandala Project so yay!!
If you can knit a circle approximately 7, 10, 14 or 20cm in acrylic or cotton in purple, white or black then that would be perfect.
If you can knit a butterfly then that too can be part of the project! I am so happy to have so many people helping raise awareness of Fibromyalgia and invisible chronic illnesses! Together we can show we care.
If you still want to contribute but can't knit or crochet why not send me a ball of cotton yarn to sew the whole thing together?!!
For an address or more information please email me at [email protected] or contact me via the Contact Page here.
Thank you for reading this. Your contribution is greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
Queen Babs
